Melanie Roberts
Melanie is the Principal physiotherapist and
began Gold Coast Sports & Spinal Physio in 2003. She graduated from the
University of South Australia in 1996 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in
Physiotherapy and completed a Masters in Sports Physio in 2002. She began
her career working in private practice as well as in hospitals before
working over in the UK . Following this she worked for three years in a
private practice / private hospital before heading off to work in the USA.
Since returning she has worked in private practice, mainly in the area of
sports physiotherapy. Since 2007 Melanie has become an APA Sports
Physiotherapist, a title awarded by the Australian Physiotherapy
Association. |
She has previous experience with various sporting teams including freestyle
snow skiing with the 'Australian Ski Team' as well as Australian Rules and
rugby, basketball and motor racing both nationally and internationally. Her
main areas of interest are with sports and spinal physiotherapy, however,
she enjoys treating all sorts of physio related problems. She has completed
a Pilates course for "core stability" training. Melanie is a member of the
Australian Physiotherapy Association, Physiotherapy Business Australia and
the Sports Physiotherapy Group. |

Jessica
Jessica joined Gold Coast Sports & Spinal Physio in January 2010 as a physiotherapist. She graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Exercise Science degree. Jessica’s main interest is in sports physiotherapy; however she is keen to treat patients with all kinds of physio related conditions. Jess has worked with soccer teams over the last few years, including Gold Coast United, and is currently club physio for Palm Beach Soccer Club. Jessica is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Sports Physiotherapy groups.

Rae
Rae has been with Gold Coast Sports & Spinal Physio since early 2009 and currently works in reception.

Danny
Danny works part time in reception and is a valuable member of our reception staff.

Pam
Pam joined Gold Coast Sports & Spinal Physio in 2003 soon after the practice opened and is now working remotely as our bookkeeper. |
