Melanie Roberts
Melanie is the Principal physiotherapist and began Gold Coast Sports & Spinal Physio in 2003. She graduated from the University of South Australia in 1996 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy and completed a Masters in Sports Physio in 2002.  She began her career working in private practice as well as in hospitals before working over in the UK . Following this she worked for three years in a private practice / private hospital before heading off to work in the USA. Since returning she has worked in private practice, mainly in the area of sports physiotherapy.  Since 2007 Melanie has become an APA Sports Physiotherapist, a title awarded by the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
She has previous experience with various sporting teams including freestyle snow skiing with the 'Australian Ski Team' as well as Australian Rules and rugby, basketball and motor racing both nationally and internationally. Her main areas of interest are with sports and spinal physiotherapy, however, she enjoys treating all sorts of physio related problems. She has completed a Pilates course for "core stability" training.  Melanie is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Physiotherapy Business Australia and the Sports Physiotherapy Group.

 
Andrew Little
Andrew joined Gold Coast Sports & Spinal Physio in 2008 as a physiotherapist.  He graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy/Exercise Science degree.  His main interest is in the musculoskeletal physiotherapy area, especially in the area of sports physio.  Andrew is keen to further his knowledge in this field and hopes to one day be a part of a major sporting team.  Andrew has a strong interest in cricket where he has worked in India with Dennis Lillee in a fast bowling clinic.  He has also worked with the QLD U19's state cricket team and has been on tour with the Northern Territory state cricket team at the National Championships.

 
Pam
Pam joined Gold Coast Sports & Spinal Physio in 2003, soon after the practice opened.  Pam is the Office Manager and a very valuable member of the reception team.

 
Jess
Jess joined the team in 2008 and also works part time as a valuable member of our reception staff.

 
Jacynta
Jacynta joined the team in 2008 and works part time as a valuable member of our reception staff.
